Leave a Legacy

When considering the future, estate planning is essential to know our family will be cared for after we are gone and give to those organizations that have meant the most to us. There's no better way to ensure the welfare of your FBI Family than with a tax-deductible planned gift that supports one or more of the Foundation's programs for years to come. Here are some easy ways to give back to your FBI Family:

  • Make a beneficiary designation or a gift through a will or trust.
  • Create a named scholarship with a $100,000 minimum contribution.
  • Turn unneeded life insurance into a charitable gift.
  • Make a minimum distribution directly from your IRA.
  • Transfer U.S. Savings Bonds under the terms of a will or trust.
  • Give the remainder of a bank or investment account.
  • Setup a Donor-Advised fund.

We can help you tailor a gift to meet your personal interests and ensure the legacy you envision is a reality. Your support makes a difference and allows us to be there working for you to preserve the shared FBI values and support the welfare of the FBI Family. By including the Foundation in your estate plans, you can become a member of the Founders' Legacy Circle. To learn more, Contact the Foundation at (703) 445-0026 or email: [email protected].

Founders Legacy Circle

Those who include the Society or Foundation in their estate plans are automatically enrolled in the Founders Legacy Circle, named in honor of the original 12 Founders who formed the Society in 1937. These planned gifts make a world of difference to the Foundation and are a meaningful way to create a lasting legacy that supports our mission for generations to come. The following individuals have joined the Founders Legacy Circle with a commitment to leave funds for the Foundation in their estate. These individuals have allowed their name to be publicized in order to encourage others to join. If you are considering this type of personal legacy, please let us know by completing the Declaration of Intent form that is provided on the next page. You may also contact the Foundation Office for assistance or to discuss your desires.
